Mumbai, Jan 5 (IBNS): Oral Care brand Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited announced the launch of its national scholarship initiative. The offer is available from January 1, 2015 to February 28, 2015. The initiative offers families a chance to win scholarships upto rupees 1 lakh.

The Colgate Dental Cream (CDC) scholarship offer was first introduced in the year 2009 and has till date benefitted over 1000 families by providing opportunities towards a better education and a better future.

With this opportunity to win upto 1 lakh rupees’ scholarship, Colgate’s aim is to encourage families to avail of resources, be it through investing in education, books or skill enhancement opportunities.

In the last four years, the Colgate scholarship offer has benefitted people like Amrath Meghwal from Sumerpur, Rajasthan, Tamanna Wadhwa from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Sumit Sagar from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand and Srija Ponnam from Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, in pursuing their dreams and creating their own path towards success.

Eric Jumbert, Director, Marketing, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited added,
“At Colgate, we believe that every family deserves an opportunity for a brighter and better future. In 2009, we introduced the Colgate Scholarship offer. We have been receiving an overwhelming participation from consumers across the country each year. In 2013, over 8 million families participated in the contest.
It was heartening to go back and meet with some of the Scholarship Offer winners from last year and to experience how they have utilized the scholarship to better their lives. It makes our resolve stronger to continue to design initiatives like the Colgate Scholarship Offer that positively impact the lives of our consumers, in small but meaningful ways."

To participate in the Colgate Scholarship offer, consumers have to give a missed call on a toll free number printed on the pack of Colgate Dental Cream toothpaste or communicated in Colgate scholarship television commercials.

The participants have to answer a simple question on Oral Care to avail the opportunity to win the scholarship. The terms and conditions of the Scholarship Offer, which is open from January 1, 2015 to February 28, 2015, are available at: www.colgate.co.in.

The Colgate Scholarship offer is being supported by a fully integrated 360 degree marketing campaign encompassing TV, digital and on-ground activities – to encourage families to participate in the offer.
