Kolkata/IBNS: Blue Star Limited has launched a diverse range of 150 models of room air conditioners.

This new range of Air Conditioners target all consumer segments and price points ahead of the summer season.

The new line-up includes around 40 Smart Wi-Fi AC models with features such as ‘Customised Sleep’, and voice command that makes it user friendly and hassle free. Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, the ACs come with energy management tools to monitor and optimise power usage.

"It is user friendly for elderly people as it has voice command, and they won’t have to trace but only control from their voice. Suppose they say, 'AC turn temperature to 25' it will turn to 25. So, it is easy for someone who is not very tech-friendly," said Girish Hingorani, Vice President. Marketing.

Among key innovations are ‘AI Pro+’ technology, ‘Defrost Clean’ for indoor unit maintenance, a mechanism that helps clean the AC itself in just 35 minutes.

Turbo Cool, Convertible 6-in-1 cooling, and precision temperature control. The models are available in cooling capacities ranging from 0.8 TR to 4 TR, with prices starting at Rs 28,990.

The company’s flagship models include Super Energy-Efficient ACs with a 6.25 ISEER rating, Heavy-Duty ACs capable of cooling in temperatures up to 56°C. Hot & Cold ACs designed for winter climates, capable of heating in temperature as cold as -2°C and ACs with Antivirus Technology that also function as air purifiers during any season.

"We have designed ACs with different requirements for different consumers. One single product cannot cater to everyone’s needs. Hence, we have a different range of Air conditioners," said Girish Hingorani, Vice President, Marketing.

Blue Star is also expanding its manufacturing footprint through its advanced facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, and currently has two plants in Himachal Pradesh, collectively enabling an annual capacity of 1.4 million units, with plans to scale up to 1.8 million.

"With the AC market poised for exponential growth, we are confident our extensive range, backed by 80+ years of expertise, will help us outperform the industry," said B Thiagarajan, Managing Director, Blue Star Limited.

The company is enhancing outreach through digital platforms, modern trade, and an expanded distribution network supported by over 2,100 service centres nationwide.

Brand ambassador Virat Kohli continues to feature in the company’s nationwide advertisement campaigns, with Blue Star investing Rs 50 crore in advertising this summer.
