Anshuman Rai appointed as new AVP India & South Asia at Commvault APJ

Kolkata: Commvault, on Monday announced the appointment of Anshuman Rai as Area Vice President, India & South Asia.

Rai joins the company with deep techno-commercial experience in sales, pre-sales and general management, and he will be responsible for accelerating growth across the entire India and South Asia region, driving sales execution excellence and expanding market share. 

Prior to joining Commvault, he held diverse senior leadership roles with leading IT and SaaS organizations including a recent IPO start-up.

Commvault continues to drive our business and customers on a transformational journey based on its industry-leading intelligent data services platform empowering enterprise to store, protect, optimize, and use their data, wherever it lives. It has a leading product portfolio with strong momentum in Asia Pacific and as business requirements region wide shift to SaaS based priorities, this appointment is an important commitment to strengthen Commvault’s leadership and go-to-market team in India & South Asia to help drive the company’s next wave of growth.

Rai joins Commvault with an impressive record from UiPath where he was the Regional VP of sales for India Domestic business, managing India and South Asia. He joined UiPath in its early days and was instrumental in building India sales and channel from scratch and created a successful and fast-growing automation business.   A veteran in the IT space, he brings to the business a deep knowledge of India SaaS and data management landscape including new age tech-world of AI and ML and a proven sales, pre-sales and management track record at Dell EMC Solutions, HP, and Wipro.
