Zicom Electronic Security Systems helps prevent ATM theft in Noida

| | Aug 20, 2015, at 07:10 pm
New Delhi, Aug 20 (IBNS): Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd., was recently responsible for averting a theft in Noida.

On Aug  12, at around 2:00 am, a break-in was attempted at an ATM, which was caught on camera by an associate from 24x7 Zicom Command Center (ZCC).

On witnessing this, the associate immediately alerted and contacted the miscreant through Zicom’s two way communication system by speaking into it, as part of Zicom’s security solution offered to the Bank.

When the miscreant started looking around for the source of the sound, Zicom Agent remotely triggered the siren with which the miscreant had no choice but to leave with the foiled attempt.

As protocol set by Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd., Bank Officials were alerted and the Noida Police Control Room was contacted. There was no major damage at the ATM and Zicom was successful in protecting the assets of the bank.

Speaking about the incident, Pramoud Rao, Managing Director Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd. said, “Security risks and threats are rapidly creating challenges for establishments hence there is a need for 24x7 multisite monitoring. With the two-way communication system, the Zicom associate spoke to the miscreant while the theft was being attempted and hence managed the situation. Our latest monitoring software offers built-in intelligent features that drastically reduce the dependency on manual presence.”
