Yogi Adityanath condoles CRPF jawan's death in Chhattisgarh

Lucknow/UNI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday expressed his condolence on martyrdom of CRPF jawan Vikas Kumar of Banda in an encounter with Naxalites in Chhattisgarh.

The Chief Minister also announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 25 lakh to the martyr's family besides a government job to a kin.

Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos were killed in an encounter with Naxalites in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Monday. A Naxalite was also killed in the incident.
