With broom in hand, BJP MP Hema Malini participates in cleanliness drive at Parliament

New Delhi, July 13 (IBNS): With broom in her hand, BJP leader Hema Malini on Saturday participated in a cleanliness drive in the Parliament area here.

Apart from Hema, Minister of State For Finance Anurag Thakur also joined the initiative.

Hema shared images of her participation in the cleaniliness drive on er Twitter page.

"Participated in the cleanliness drive organised by the Lok Sabha Speaker," Hema Malini tweeted.

Hema, who is a MP from Mathura, swept the road outside the Parliament.

To accelerate the efforts to achieve universal sanitation coverage and to put focus on sanitation, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Mission on Oct 2, 2014.
