Banaskantha, Aug 4 (IBNS): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre after his convoy was allegedly attacked by BJP supporters in Gujarat's Banaskantha area.

He was also shown black flag during his visit to the state.

Gandhi said he will continue to serve people despite facing such black flags and stones.

"नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नारों से, काले झंडों से और पत्थरों से हम पीछे हटने वाले नहीं हैं, हम अपनी पूरी ताकत लोगों की मदद करने में लगाएंगे (Despite slogans by Narendra Modi, black flags and stones, I won't get back. I will continue to serve the people with my full power)," the Congress vice president tweeted.

The Congress on Friday alleged that BJP workers attacked Gandhi's convoy.

The Congress shared an image of Rahul Gandhi's car on Twitter.

The Congress said Rahul Gandhi was fine but his team members were injured in the attack.

Along with the picture, the party tweeted: "Congress VP Rahul Gandhi is fine but team members are injured. #BJPGoons try to harm us, but we will only emerge stronger!"

Earlier, the Congress shared several pictures on social media where Rahul Gandhi was seen meeting with people hit by flood in Gujarat.
