Which big heart helped Robert Vadra, asks BJP

| | Apr 27, 2014, at 09:49 pm
New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS) Amid a raging war-of-words between the Congress led by the Gandhi family and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over corruption, the BJP hit back at the ruling party and Priyanka Gandhi asking which big heart had helped her husband Robert Vadra acquire lands illegally.

He asked why Robert Vadra, who is embroiled in a land controversy in Haryana and Rajasthan, did not buy land in non-Congress states.

"The Robert Vadra scam is a textbook case of corruption. It is not against any family. It is how rules and laws were bent to favour one man," said Prasad.

He said the Congress must explain the Robert Vadra model of development, a day after Sonia Gandhi said "God save India from Modi model."

Earlier, taking a dig at BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Congress leader PriyankaGandhi on Sunday said a 56-inch chest is not required to lead India.

This comes after Modi had used the 56-inch chest remark during an election rally in Gorakhpur while reacting to Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam's remark on turning UP into Gujarat.
