West Bengal Madhyamik Board results declared, girls outshine boys

Kolkata, May 27 (IBNS) : The results of Madhyamik, the Class 10 level West Bengal board exams, were declared on Saturday morning.

According to media reports, bout 85.65 per cent  students reportedly passed the exam as compared to 82.74 per cent in 2016.

Girls outnumbered boys by 10.76 per cent. 

However, an official statement detailing the results is yet to come.

Out of a total of 10.61 lakh students who appeared for the test, 4.73 lakh were male and 5.87 lakh were female.

The exam began on February 22.
