West Bengal: 15 hurt in Howrah bus-truck collision
Kolkata, Oct 20 (IBNS): At least 15 persons were injured on Thursday morning when a speeding truck smashed into a public bus at Shibpur Kajipara crossing in West Bengal's Howrah district, reports said.
According to reports, the overspeeding sand-filled truck violated traffic signal and collided head-on with a Fatikgachi to Rajabazar bound minibus at around 5:45 am.
As many as 15 passengers of the bus were injured in the crash and rushed to Howrah State General Hospital.
Police have seized both the bus and truck.
