New Delhi, Sept 30 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said her state is not getting ' a single penny' from the Centre.

"Only announcement of funds does not matter. We are not getting a single penny. I have personally come to Delhi many times in 4 years," Banerjee said while addressing at the conclave on cooperative federalism, organised by the Government of Delhi.

Attacking the Centre further, Banerjee said: "Parallel governments are being run everywhere. I respect the Central government. I know my jurisdiction. They must also remember their jurisdiction. State government is also elected by people."

She said next meeting on cooperative federalism  can be held in West Bengal.

Kejriwal later tweeted: "Thank u Mamta Di for attending CM conclave on cooperative federalism and sharing ur thoughts."

"I was shocked to learn frm Mamta Di today that WB Governor also interfering in their day to day affairs, like LG does in Del," he said.

The conclave was held ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls.
