Voting begins in 51 UP seats
Lucknow, Feb 27 (IBNS): Voting is currently going on in 51 Assembly seats, which are spread across 11 districts, in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
Voting commenced at 7 am.
Over 1.84 crore voters are expected to exercise their franchise on Monday.
Fates of 617 candidates will be decided.
This is the fifth of the seven-phase Assembly polls in the north Indian state.
Security has been tightened across the constituencies.
