Varanasi will not vote for Modi: Kejriwal

Varanasi, May 9 (IBNS) After Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, it was Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal's turn to show his strength as he held a massive roadshow in Varanasi on Friday.

Addressing his supporters, Kejriwal said: "The AAP will sweep the polls here. The people have already decided to make Modi and his BJP lose."

"Modi can't fool people with his couple of hours' campaigning. He flies to the town, makes big promises and goes back. How will be be able to serve people unless he interacts with them?" Kejriwal asked.

"Once he comes to power in Delhi, he will forget Varanasi," Kejriwal added.

Referring to himself, the former Delhi Chief Minister said people will vote for a "grounded" candidate.
 
Varanasi will go to polls on May 12.
