V. Narayanasamy to become new Puducherry CM

Puducherry, May 28 (IBNS): The Congress party has picked up former Union Minister of State V. Narayanasamy as the new Chief Minister of Puducherry.

He has been elected as Congress Legislature Party leader.

He had served as the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office during the UPA regime.

This announcement was made by former Delhi Chief Minister Shelia Dikshit and AICC general secretary Mukul Wasnik who had been deputed as observers by the Congress leadership after holding consultations with newly elected MLAs, The Hindu reported.
