Uttar Pradesh: Two killed in road mishap

Kaushambi/UNI: Two youths were killed, while two other sustained critical injuries in a container-car collision in the Saini area here, police said on Tuesday.

According to the police, the accident happened when Abhishek Giri, a resident of Kaudihar town in the Prayagraj district was proceeding towards Ajuha Bazar, along with his friends Haroon, Suryabhan and Vikas Shukla in a car, late Monday night.

As soon as they neared Trilokpur village in the Saini police station area, the car had a collision with a container.

Abhishek Giri and Haroon were killed on the spot in the accident while Vikas and Suryabhan were critically injured.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital and are undergoing treatment.
