Agra: Two persons, including trustee of a dharamshala and a builder, were arrested on Friday in connection with houses collapse incident in Kotwali area in which a minor girl was killed, police sources said here.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sanctioned Rs 2 lakh to the kin of the girl killed in the incident and has directed to treat the injured-on government expenses. Cabinet Minister Yogendra Upadhyaya handed over the cheque to the bereaved family.

Police sources said that trustee of Vishambhar Nath dharamshala Raju Mehra and builder Haresh Kumar were arrested in the morning.

"One more accused Raghvendra Upadhyaya, the contractor, was arrested by the police late on Thursday night," they said.

It may be noted that four-year-old girl Rusali was killed and her father and sister were injured when seven houses collapsed due to digging on city station road in Agra.

Police sources said that laxity on the part of Agra Development Authority (ADA) has also come to fore and the basement of the dharamshala was being dug without getting the layout passed from the authority.
