Uttar Pradesh: 2 dead, 4 injured in road accident

Sultanpur, July 18 (UNI): Two people died on the spot while four suffered severe injuries when their car lost control and dashed into a divider in the Kudvar area, police said here on Thursday.

Police sources here said six residents of Amethi district met with an accident in Kudvar area when they were returning from Lucknow late on Wednesday night.

The front tyres of their vehicle burst following which the car got disarrayed and hit the divider.

Two people died on the spot while four others received severe injuries.

The deceased were identified as Amit Mishra (30) and Sunil Pandey (35).

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital from where two of them were referred to Lucknow Hospital.
