US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan meets Ajit Doval, discusses bilateral-regional issues with S Jaishankar in New Delhi

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on Monday held extensive talks with his Indian counterpart  Ajit Doval and also External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar during his visit to New Delhi, media reports said on Monday.

Sullivan is the first top official from the USA to visit India since PM Narendra Modi took oath for the third straight term.

Sullivan is visiting India from June 17 to June 18.

After meeting Sullivan, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar posted on X: " Delighted to welcome US NSA
@JakeSullivan46in New Delhi today morning. "

Jaishankar said he discussed bilateral, global and regional issues with the American official.

"A comprehensive discussion on a broad range of bilateral, regional and global issues. Confident that India-US strategic partnership will continue to advance strongly in our new term," he said.
