UP: Lawyer shot dead inside Shahjahanpur court

Shahjahanpur/UNI: In a daring daylight crime, a lawyer was shot dead inside the civil court premises at Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

According to police, the crime took place in the office of the ACJM on the third floor of the court building.

The deceased lawyer Bhupendra Singh was shot dead with a country-made pistol at around 11:45 am.

The criminal escaped after leaving the firearm at the spot.

At the time of the incident there was no one in the office.

Police are investigating the case.
