Union Ministers to interact with Editors from North and North Eastern states at Conference in Chandigarh

New Delhi, Oct 16 (IBNS): Union Ministers from some key ministries will interact with Regional Editors from North and North Eastern States during a two-day conference in Chandigarh on Monday.


The conference is being organized by Press Information Bureau to provide an opportunity to the media persons from the regions to have direct interaction with ministers and senior officials for getting deeper perspective of Government's recent initiatives and road map planned in some of the key sectors.

An exclusive session on media communication has also been scheduled to have feedback from the participants for better understanding their communication needs.

Editors and senior media persons from ten States and one Union territories-Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh ,Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Chandigarh will participate in the Regional Editors Conference.


An exhibition showcasing Government's initiatives of the recent past is also being held on the occasion.
