Patna, May 9 (IBNS) Sounding alert, BJP top-brass and parliamentarian, Uma Bharti warned the country about the consequences it will face if Bihar Chief Minsiter Nitish Kumar is elected as the Prime Minister in the near future, as she said, a Jungle Raj will prevail in the country, reports stated.

Bharti was quoted by India Today as saying, "If Nitish Kumar becomes Prime Minister then like Bihar there will be jungle raj in the entire country."

Nitish, the Janata Dal (United) chief, had forged an alliance with Rashtriya Janata Dal to take on the BJP in the Bihar polls, which they subsequently won and Nitish was sworn in as the Chief Minister.

Uma also came down heavily on the Bihar CM for the alleged lawlessness prevailing in the state.

The state had witnessed a murder of a 19-year-old, who was shot dead by a lawmaker's son for allegedly overtaking the latter's vehicle.

Citing the recent incident, Uma urged Nitish to take action against drunk people with power.

Bharti, the Water Resources Minister, who is also in-charge of Ganga rejuvenation plans, will launch several projects in Sahebganj, Jharkhand.
