New Delhi, Sept 16 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, two teens were allegedly gang-raped by four men in Delhi's Aman Vihar area on Wednesday, reports said on Friday.

The girls are reportedly aged 17 and 18.

The girls and two boys were walking in the area when the men attacked them, media reports said.

Th two boys were reportedly beaten up by the attackers.

Then they allegedly gang-raped the girls.

Police have reportedly detained four people in connection with the case.

Delhi had witnessed major protest in 2012 following the death of a 23-year-old woman who was gang-raped in the national capital.

Following the nationwide outrage over the incident in 2013,  India had enacted new laws to prevent and prosecute rape and other sex crimes.
