Turkish President arrives in India

New Delhi, Apr 30 (IBNS): Turkish President Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in India on Sunday.

With his arrival, he started his two-day visit to the Asian nation.

This is his first visit to India since becoming the President of Turkey.

During his visit, the Turkish leader is scheduled to meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice-President Hamid Ansari.

MEA Spokesperson Gopal Baglay‏ tweeted: "India welcomes arrival of a special guest. President @RT_Erdogan and Mrs Emine Erdogan arrive in Delhi for State visit to India."
