Trilokpuri remains tense, prohibitory orders imposed

New Delhi Oct 25 (IBNS): Situation remained tensed in east Delhi's Trilokpuri area as sporadic incidents of communal violence were reported from the area on Saturday, media reports said.

The Delhi Police imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in the area following the clashes which started on Thursday.

The police have arrested 60 people in connection with the clashes, reports said.

Two groups clashed in the area on Thursday night which left several people  injured.

A heavy police  contingent has been deployed in the area.
