Tremor shakes Delhi, Kashmir, North India

New Delhi, Aug 10 (IBNS) A strong tremor shook Delhi, Kashmir valley and other parts of north India on Monday afternoon triggering panic among the people.

In Delhi and Kashmir,panc-stricken people ran out of homes and offices as buildings trembled.

According to the US Geological Survey, the  epicenter of the magnitude 6 quake was 88  km  from Feyzabad in Afghanistan, at a depth of 209 km.

The tremor was also felt in various parts of Pakistan including Islamabad, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Peshawar and Sargodah.

No casualties have been reported so far.
