New Delhi, Mar 24 (IBNS) Top Hurriyat leaders will meet Pakistani High Commissioner Abdul Basit on Thursday to discuss a host of issues, including Kashmir, a media report said on Thursday.

According to Times Now, Hurriyat leaders such as Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq will join in the discussions with Pakistani envoy Abdul Basist.

Mirwaiz has reportedly demanded Pakistan to act on the plotters of the deadly Pathankot attack.

He also called for adopting the “Vajpayee model” of diplomacy and said that their meeting with the Pakistani high commissioner is important.

Other notable Hurriyat leaders who are expected to meet Basit include Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

Before leaving for New Delhi to attend the Pakistan Day function on Wednesday, Mirwaiz had said that "Hurriyat conference is not against any country or nation.

"We believe the vision of Atal Bihari Vajpayee would be carried forward in which he said issues should be settled within the parameters of 'Insaniyat' (Humanity) which is much greater than the parameters set by the constitution" .
