Top court to consider legal aspects of Triple Talaq on Thursday

New Delhi, Feb 14 (IBNS): The Supreme Court said on Tuesday that it will frame issues related to the Triple Talaq on Thursday, according to media reports.

The apex court said it will only consider the 'legal' aspects of Triple Talaq, 'nikah halala' and polygamy and not if divorce uner Muslim law needs to be supervised by courts, media reported.

The bench comprising  Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justices N V Ramana and D Y Chandrachud has directed the lawyers representing the various parties to finalise the issues to be deliberated by the bench.
