Tihar Jail officials claim arrested AAP leader Satyendar Jain threatened them with 'dire consequences'

New Delhi/IBNS: The Tihar Jail officials have alleged that incarcerated Aam Aadmi Party minister Satyendar Jain threatened them with dire consequences “once he gets out”, media reports said.

Jail officials said in an ‘incident report’ submitted on December 8, that they had gone to serve a show-cause notice to Jain over alleged flouting of prison rules on November 30 when the Aam Admi Party leader abused and threatened them, Indian Express reported.

“I know this is being done by the law officer. I will ask for the CCTV footage from this jail after being released and will teach SCJ – Rajesh Chaudhary how to do his job,” Jain allegedly told the officials, according to the report.

Indian Express reported that Jain allegedly further told Rajesh Chaudhary during an inquiry over the report submitted against him: “This whole matter is political and whenever I am released, I will show the officers who did anything against me, whether they are serving or retired.”

Chaudhary apprehends that Jain could take action against jail officials after he threatened both serving and retired officials, who offended him, and he can no longer overlook the Delhi minister's warnings assuming that he uttered them out of frustration.
