Three workers run over by Tejas Express in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Jan 14 (IBNS) : Three contractual workers were run over and killed by the Mumbai-bound Tejas Express when they were crossing railway tracks at a place  in Maharashtra’s Raigad distri, media reports said on Monday quoting the police

The incident took place on Sunday night near Jite railway station in Pen area, around 66 km from Mumbai.

While the workers were crossing the track, they apparently did not see the approaching train and were hit by it,All three died on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Ashok Bari (30), Nimsingh Gulkar (40) and Ajay Dandodiya (18). They all hailed from Madhya Pradesh, the reports said.
