Three terrorists killed in Anantnag encounter

Srinagar: Three terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag on Wednesday.

Arms and ammunition have been recovered.

"Three terrorists killed.Arms and ammunition recovered. Identity and affiliation being http://ascertained.Search continues. @JmuKmrPolice" the police have put up a tweet.

A joint operation was launched by military and paramilitary forces.

In another incident, a civilian was killed by terrorists in Kakpora area of Pulwama in Kashmir.

The area has been cordoned and search operations are  underway.

Police said in a tweet, "#Terrorists #killed a #civilian in #Kakpora area of #Pulwama. Area has been #cordoned and #searches are going on. Further details shall follow."
