Three people died, five injured in Assam road mishap

Guwahati, May 4 (IBNS) : Three people were killed and five others injured in a road mishap in Assam’s Goalpara district on Friday morning.

The incident took place at National Highway – 37 at Bekipool area near Krishnai in Goalpara district.

According to reports, a Mahindra Scorpio bearing registration no AS-26-8247 and a Xylo bearing registration no AS-25CC-9280 collided head on .

Three people were died on spot and five others received severe injuries.

The injured persons were rushed to Goalpara civil hospital.

The deceased persons are yet to be identified.
