Three members of a family die in Assam road mishap

Guwahati, Dec 25 (IBNS): At least three members of a family died in a road mishap in Assam’s Kamrup district on Monday evening, officials said. 

According to the reports, the incident took place at Gauripur area near North Guwahati at around 9-15 pm when a head on collision happened between a WogonR and a speedy truck at the National Highway.

The deceased persons were identified as Raj Kamal Sarma, his daughter Moitreyi Sarma and driver of WagonR vehicle Jiten Barman.

Wife of Raj Kamal Sarma, hailing from Fatalsil Ambari area in Guwahati, has been injured in the accident.

She was rushed to nearest hospital.
