Three criminals gunned down by police in Muzaffarnagar gun battle

Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, Sept 22 (IBNS) : Police shot dead three hardened criminals in a seven-hour gun battle in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh on early Thursday, reports said.

The incident took place in  Begrajpur after police raided a house  where the criminals were hiding taking a family for ransom.

A cache of arms and several mobile phones were recovered fro the spot after the criminals were gunned down.

Those who died have been identified as Sachin, Gaurav and Deepak Rathi.
