Three Army personnel, one terrorist killed in north Kashmir encounters

Srinagar, Oct 5 (IBNS) Three army personnel and one terrorist have been killed in separate encounters which are underway in north Kashmir on Monday, reports said.

Three army personnel were killed during an anti-terrorist operation at Hafrada in Handwara of Kupwara district where firing is still on.

Another encounter between terrorists and security forces is also underway in the Krusan area of the same district.One terrorist has been killed and an AK-47 has been recovered from him.

Earlier on Sunday, two terrorists of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) t were killed in an encounter in Pulwama district of Kashmir. The encounter had taken place  after a joint team of police and army cordoned off Hari village in Tral in Pulwama to start a search operation following a tip-off from the intelligence.
