"Congratulations to France for a spirited performance at the #FIFAWorldCup! They also delighted Football fans with their skill and sportsmanship on the way to the finals. @EmmanuelMacron," he also appreciated the runner up and 2018 World Cup winning squad for their performance in the final.

Both the squads were tied at 3-3 in the regulation and then extra time.
