Srinagar, June 6 (IBNS): About four to six terrorists attacked an army post and a police station at Hajin in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Wednesday evening.

The terrorists threw grenades, using under barrel grenade launchers or UBGLs, media reports said.

The terrorists reportedly came from two sides of the army camp of 13 Rashtriya Rifles.

Following the attack, the army also retaliated resulting in heavy exchange of fire.

The army post and the police station are safe now, said reports.

The area has been cordoned off and combing operations have been started.
