Teenager held for stalking, assaulting Russian tourist in Goa

Panaji, May 26 (UNI): Goa Police on Sunday arrested a teenager from Solapur in Maharashtra for allegedly stalking and assaulting a Russian tourist.

According to police, the accused teenager Ashpak Mujawar (19) was stayng temporarily in Nagoa village in North Goa.

The victim, a Russian tourist, had alleged that she was "stalked and slapped" by an unidentified person at Arpora on May 15, 2019.

The victim had claimed that police did not take serious note of the incident and had refused to conduct investigation.

However, the incident got attention after the victim uploaded a video of her assault on social media.
