Tamil Nadu: Dinakaran moved from AIADMK party post, rivals factions likely to merge
Chennai, Aug 10 (IBNS): The removal of TTV Dinakaran, Sasikala's nephew, from the post of AIADMK's deputy general secretary, on Thursday, has fuelled speculations that a merger between the Panneerselvam and Palaniswami factions is likely anytime soon, according to media reports.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami not only removed Dinakaran through a resolution but has also invalidated all appointments made by Dinakaran, media reported.
Chief Minister Palaniswami has convened a meeting of ministers and top leaders at party headquarters on Thursday.
