Sustainability key to building a strong foundation for tomorrow: Suresh Prabhu

New Delhi, Nov 16 (IBNS): Indian Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said on Wednesday that sustainability is the key to building a strong foundation for tomorrow.

Addressing a conference on sustainability, the Railway Minister said that India is playing a key role to ensure the same.

"Sustainability as a way of life is essential for welfare for all, especially poor.India playing a key role to ensure," he said

"Sustainability is key to building a strong foundation for tomorrow. Organisations must adapt to the rapidly evolving paradigm," Prabhu added.

Prabhu said that his department has made sustainability an integral part.

"We at Indian Railways have made sustainability an integral part of our strategy and not a peripheral activity," the Railway Minister said.
