Sushma Swaraj opens new chancery complex of Indian High Complex in Dhaka

Dhaka, Oct 23 (IBNS): Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj opened the new chancery complex of Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Monday, according to media reports.

India's High Commissioner  to Bangaldesh, Harsh Shringla received Swaraj at the new chancery complex.

Foreign Minister, Health Minister, and Forest & Environment ministers of Bangladesh were also present at the opening ceremony.

The new complex is located in the Baridhara diplomatic enclave of the capital city.

The High Commission was previously operating from a building in the Gulshan area.

Swaraj and Bagladesh Foreign Minister inaugurated 15 projects of BDT 750 million under Indian Grant Assistance on Monday.

They also met with the beneficiaries of 15 community development projects under Indian Grant Assistance.

EAM Sushma Swaraj on Sunday reached Dhaka city to commence her two-day visit to Bangladesh.
