Subramanian Swamy booked in criminal case over mosque remark
Guwahati, Mar 15 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Subramanian Swamy has landed himself in a problem as he is been booked in a criminal case over his mosque remark.
Sawmy said mosque is not a religious place but only a building, which can be demolished in any part of the world.
"Mosques are demolished periodically everywhere in the world. Even during the British era, mosques were demolished in India," he reportedly said.
His remark has triggered severe protests.
