Students gherao Presidency University VC

Kolkata, Aug 21 (IBNS): The students of Kolkata's prestigious Presidency University have gheraoed Vice-Chancellor Anuradha Lohia on Friday.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee joined a programme in Presidency University on Friday noon.

Protesting against her visit to the university, the students have gheraoed the VC.

Students also showed black flag to the CM.

Meanwhile, few students of Jadavpur University have joined the protest.

Demonstration and gherao is currently underway.
