Startup CEO receives 3,000 resumes within 48 hours, his Twitter reaction on 'Job Market Situation' is keeping netizens engaged

A startup founder and CEO in Bengaluru has expressed his shock over Twitter over the job market situation of the country after he received more than 3,000 resumes in 48 hours for "permanently remote" job postings on the company website.

Springworks CEO Kartik Mandaville tweeted: " Received over 3K resumes in the last 48 hours just on our website - how bad is the job market?"

In another tweet, he wrote: "Its been like this for the month. 12,500+ applications so far."

A visit to the website showed job openings for "permanently remote" roles in product, founders office, and software development engineer, among others, reports Money Control.
