Sonowal greets Governor-designate of Assam Purohit

Guwahati, Aug 19 (IBNS) : Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal greeted Governor-designate of Assam Banwarilal Purohit on his arrival at LGBI Airport in Guwahati late evening today.

The Assam CM greeted the Governor-designate with a bouquet of flowers and extended his best wishes to him.

Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, Ranjit Kumar Dass, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Minister for PHED, Rihon Daimary, Chief Secretary, VK Pipersenia, DGP Mukesh Sahay and a host of officials were present on the occasion.
