Six people drown in Uttar Pradesh river, CM expresses grief over incident
Lucknow, Oct 7 (IBNS): Six people, including four children, drowned in the Saryu river in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, according to media reports.
The media quoting the District Magistrate said that three people swam to safety.
Bodies of all the six who had drowned were tracked down and sent for post mortem, reports said.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister expressed his grief over the incident.
