Singer Labh Janjua found dead in residence

Mumbai, Oct 22 (IBNS) Bollywood singer Labh Janjua was found dead in his Mumbai residence on Thursday, reports said. He was 57.

Janjua's body was discovered by one of his friend and taken to Cooper Hospital for post mortem.

Janjua's Mumbai residence was at Goregaon.

A popular Punjabi singer from Khanna near Ludhiana, Labh Janjua cut mark  with his song Mundeyan ton bach ke rahin, produced by 'Punjabi MC'. His other hits include Dance Pe Chance from Rab Ne Banaa Di Jodi, Soni De Nakhre from Partner and more recently, London Thumakda from Queen.

Bollywood celebs mourned the sudden death of the singer.

Music director Pritam tweeted, "RIP Labh Janjua. Can't believe i have to write this. Can't process the news. Rest in peace my friend. My Prayers are with his loved ones."

Ayushmann Khurrana :" RIP Labh Janjua. Your voice will always remain immortal. It carried the soul of Punjab."

Salim Merchant : "Heard about the sudden demise of singer Labh Janjua. What a fab artist..Prayers and condolences to the family."
