Shiv Sena opposes Ghulam Ali's concert

Mumbai, Oct 7 (IBNS) Shiv Sena, the regional powerhouse in Maharashtra has opposed the music concert by celebrated Pakistani ghazal singer Ustad Ghulam Ali that is scheduled for Friday, reports said.

Sena said that India cannot have cultural ties with Pakistan as the latter is violating ceasefire agreements and killing Indian soldiers.

Mr Ali is scheduled to perform at Shanmukhanand Hall in Mumbai on Friday.

On 8 April, Ghulam Ali had performed during an annual music concert at Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in Varanasi.
