Seventh Pay Commission report on salary hikes likely today
New Delhi, Nov 19 (IBNS) The Seventh Pay Commission headed by Justice A K Mathur will submit its report to Finance Miniser Arun Jaitley on Thursday.
Recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission will go to the Cabinet and are likely to be implemented with effect from January 1, 2016.
According to media reports the Seventh Pay Commission will likely recommend a nearly 15 per cent salary hike in basic salary for 50 lakh central government employees and 54 lakh pensioners.
