Senior PMO and cabinet secretariat officials prematurely shunted out

New Delhi, July 16 (UNI): In surprising move, two senior officials from Prime Ministers Office and cabinet secretariat have been shunted out and repatriated to parent cadres.

According to official sources here, Gyanesh Bharti posted as joint secretary in cabinet secretariat has been sent back to Union Territory cadre.

Both the officials are being sent back prematurely, sources said.

Another officer who will be repatriated is from Tripura cadre.

Brijesh Pandey of 2004 IAS officer will be going back to his state cadre. Mr Pandey was on central deputation till 2020.

Sources said proposals on these lines came from the Union home ministry.
