Lucknow, July 22 (UNI): Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that data centre policy is a sensitive subject, and officials should seek suggestions from public domain before finalising it.

He also asked officials to discuss the policy with Government of India officials.

The CM's directions came in a meeting with officials of Information Technology and Electronics Department here.

"Sit down with the officials of government of India once and discuss it. Also put it in public domain seeking suggestions from the public," he said.

While presenting the details about data center policy to CM, the officials said here on Monday that Uttar Pradesh would become the first state in India to have such kind of policy. The data center park and solar park will be constructed to promote the proposed policy.

Along with CM Yogi, deputy CM Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya, several government officers were present at the meeting.
